The DX5015 represents the heart of DELUXEWARE’s denim lineup—our flagship jean and the ideal introduction to the brand. While its design and silhouette draw deeply from mid-century vintage denim, every detail has been re-imagined through the lens of contemporary Japanese craftsmanship, resulting in a timeless yet modern straight-fit jean.

This 15oz selvedge fabric is woven exclusively for DELUXEWARE in Ibara City, Okayama, Japan’s renowned denim capital. Developed in-house and produced on old shuttle looms, Rogue Denim is defined by its rugged, uneven texture and deep, shadowy indigo tone.

Both warp and weft use U.S. Memphis cotton (No.6 yarn), with the warp spun into an intentionally wild, irregular shape. This creates a dramatic vertical fading pattern unmatched by conventional fabrics. Over time, Rogue Denim reveals high-contrast streaks and a powerful vintage character unique to each wearer.

A Modern Straight Fit with Heritage Roots

Cut in a classic straight silhouette with a subtle taper, the DX5015 offers an easy, versatile fit suitable for daily wear. It is designed to complement various body types while allowing the denim’s aging process to shine.

Craftsmanship Highlights

(1) Vintage Stitch Construction

• DX5015 uses 14 different thread types and a specialized sewing method referred to as Vintage Stitching. This creates:
• A bold, crunchy stitch expression
• Exceptional tensile strength
• Rich puckering and fade patterns that grow more pronounced over time

(2) Union Special 43200G – Four-Roll Hem

The hem is sewn using the legendary Union Special 43200G, known for producing the most desirable vintage-style roping.

The “four-roll” hem adds an additional layer of fabric, creating a beautifully defined, narrow taper unique to high-level reproduction denim.

(3) Eagle Arch Pocket

The back pockets are constructed with generous seam allowances—just like true vintage jeans—allowing the pocket shape to evolve dramatically with wear.

Each pair features the signature Eagle Arch stitching, a mark of DELUXEWARE’s identity.

(4) Crimson Bar Tack Reinforcements

High-stress areas are secured with distinctive crimson bar tacks, an old-world construction detail that strengthens the pocket openings and symbolises quality denim craftsmanship.

(5) Selvedge Out-Seam with Red Line

True to mid-century jeans, the outer seam features Red Line selvedge. Slight serpentine stitch variations—once common in early factory-made jeans—add a touch of rugged authenticity and charm.
