A refined take on the classic Type I, the Deluxeware DX4015-SF blends faithful vintage inspiration with the brand’s signature attention to detail and craftsmanship. Cut from Deluxeware’s original 15oz “Rogue Denim,” this jacket is woven in Ibara, Okayama, using vintage shuttle looms, delivering a richly textured fabric with depth and character. Constructed from American cotton No.6 yarn, the denim features an irregular warp and straight weft, resulting in a rugged handfeel and striking vertical fade patterns over time. The deep indigo tone enhances its ageing potential, promising a uniquely personal patina with wear.

Production is carried out entirely in-house in Odate, Akita, where skilled artisans use Union Special machines and traditional sewing techniques. With 14 different thread types and a 5–8 stitch-per-inch pitch, the jacket develops natural puckering and evolving stitch character that mirrors true vintage garments. Finished in a classic First Model silhouette, the DX4015-SF captures the rebellious spirit of 1950s denim while remaining versatile for modern wear. The fabric is unsanforized but has been one-washed, ensuring no further shrinkage.
