The Cushman Special Pocket T-Shirt is a classic inspired by 1940s vintage design tee. Crafted with a precision loopwheel construct. This 7.5oz T-shirt features a unique round-body construction made from tightly woven, air-spun 14-count recycled yarn. The air-spun process, which uses airflow to twist the yarn, gives the fabric a distinctively rough, dry texture, while the recycled yarn adds character and durability.

The medium-thickness fabric is both firm and resilient, maintaining its shape and texture over time. The collar rib is crafted using a three-needle, one-drop technique, ensuring stretchability without compromising strength. The collar is reinforced with a thick silk thread that provides extra elasticity, preventing it from stretching out.

Sewn with vintage machines to replicate the techniques of the 1940s, this T-shirt boasts meticulous details like single lock ground stitching, which minimizes ruffling, and two-thread lock hem stitching, enhancing stretchability even with cotton thread. Additionally, the hem features two laundry holes on each side for added convenience and authenticity.

There are two laundry holes on each side of the hem.

• These holes were made so that the Navy could tie laundry to prevent it from being blown away by the wind when hanging it out on the deck. Available in classic colours: oatmeal, navy, black, and mixed grey.
